A new show by the singer Maureen ahead of the release of a new album dedicated to the golden age of Iranian pop and rock music, which began in the 1950s and ended in the late 1970s with the rise of radical Islamic rule.
In those days the influence of Western pop music came to Iran – it was seen as a sign of openness and progress and led to an unprecedented creative wave of many good artists from the time.
Nehedar will perform the best songs of the period performed by the leading artists of the time: Muhammad Raza Shadjarian, Gogush, Haida, Darius, Mortza, Korush, Wigan and more.
With her unique and sweeping voice and personal interpretation, a great musical picture will be painted of that one-time period that was lost forever, but still excites millions of Iranian exiles around the country and around the world.
